Dr. Alita Gonsalves Sikora opened her practice in July of 2017. She decided to open her own practice in order to be able to take a more personalized approach to treating each patient. In addition to seeing patients in her own Vero Beach practice, she has inpatient privileges at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. She has previously been a Medical Director for a subacute rehabilitation hospital.
She graduated from Wellesley College, Magna cum Laude, in 1999 and then attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine from 1999 until 2003, when she received her MD with Honors. She then did a year of Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Connecticut followed by a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the New York Presbyterian, University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell from 2004-2007. She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has practiced in Vero Beach since 2007.
Jessica grew up in Minnesota and has lived in the Vero Beach area since 2006. She graduated as a registered nurse in 2003 and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner APRN in 2017. Jessica also works as a APRN in the infectious disease specialty and is continuing her education in integrative healthcare. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. She joined Sikora Integrative Medicine in August 2020. She is starting a weight loss program at our office and also has an interest in bioidentical hormones.
Sabrina is originally from Fort Pierce and now lives in Port Saint Lucie. She has worked off and on with Dr. Sikora since 2007. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking holidays. She has 2 Children and twin grandsons. She is the wife of a US Army veteren who served our country for 28 years.
Allyn graduated from IRSC in 2009 with her LPN and IV certification. She has been working in the field as an infusion nurse since, and been a part of our team since March 2020. She is a mother of 2 boys and enjoys spending her free time with them and the great outdoors. She is a great asset to our team with excellent IV skills to get your blood drawn for micronutrient and food allergy/sensitivity testing or to get an IV vitamin infusion.
Shelly is originally from Michigan and moved to Florida in 2009. She has been in the medical field over 25 years. On her off time she enjoys spoiling her grandbabies and going for motorcycle rides in the wonderful Florida weather. She works hard to answer the phones and schedule our patients. Our patients always compliment us on how friendly and helpful she is!
